Journalist Day is celebrated every year in Ukraine, June 6 - the day of adoption of the Union of Journalists of Ukraine in 1992, the International Federation of Journalists. The Decree of President of Ukraine № 251/94 was signed on 25 May 1994).

All journalists of the world have in common is that they have no breaks in the day and night, keep abreast of the planet. Journalists not only show our life, they affect it. Hence, for every human life.

Journalists are under control of society. They know about everything that happens, more and faster than others. It is up to them to shape public opinion.

Journalism is a profession of truth, persistent, desperate people seeking a better world. This profession of those who can appreciate friends team together to achieve the goal. Not possible imagine a journalist without operator. Newspaper Man without photographers, radio presenter without team support. That is, without those people with whom journalists together create high-quality and interesting information product.

Nothing in today's world of high technology and frenzied pace of life is not as expensive as information. Word is a powerful weapon. Journalists know that words can inspire to exploit, or just destroy. Therefore, professional journalist is in a cautious and thoughtful approach to each word.
